Introducing AAAS Live! our new live chat series focused on science policy, education, funding and public engagement. Our first chat, on Tuesday, June 12 at 1 pm ET, discussed science and human rights, specifically a 1948 UN declaration that all people have a right to enjoy the benefits of scientific progress and its applications. This month the UN Human Rights Council will meet to discuss this right and what it means for scientists and society.
