Ancient penguin reconstructed

Kairuku penguins were the ancient ancestor to today's penguins. Scientists are finally able to understand what this huge ancestor looked like thanks to reconstruction efforts from fossils, allowing researchers to ponder why Kairuku penguins became extinct.
